About Us

Welcome to the Todd Pheifer And The Jennings Street Band fan page.  We are an Americana Band that likes to stay true to our roots, but we enjoy kicking it up a notch.  Our style pays a significant tribute to the many musical influences and outstanding artists we have had the opportunity to work with.  We hail from Crescent City, Illinois, a rural farming community in central Illinois.  We love to play, make, and experience the feeling of truly creating music that inspires us.  We have the best fans in the world.  We owe it all to those late nights,  the "donated tequila shots", and the many fans who continue to support us. We Thank you!

Todd Pheifer

Singer/Songwriter

I am from Crescent City and have been writing songs for many years.  A Song is just a bunch of words and chords unless you have a group that gels together like the Jennings Street Band does.  Like a piece of clay, the song is slowly molded into a piece of art by everyone in the band.  It may be the tiniest of suggestions that make the biggest impact on the end song.  "Three chords and the truth along with a little help from my friends.  It's a pleasure and honor to make and play music with the band.    I am Married to my Wife Christi and have two Children Aubrie, and Blake.

Rod Honeycutt

Lead Guitar/

Producer

I am from Crescent City and own my own business, Midwest Cornhead Rebuilders.  First and foremost, my greatest life blessings are my children, Aubrey and Chad, and my amazing wife Joan of 34 years.  Without them, I wouldn't be the man I am today. In October of 2015, I was honored to accept a request from Todd and the boys to lay down some guitar tracks.  The next thing I know, we are Todd Pheifer And The Jennings Street Band. I was blessed again to be able to record an album not just with the band, but with my son Chad as well, who stepped in last minute on the drums and 2nd lead in our song "Grandpa's Amp".  As a father, I couldn't be any more proud. I have found the secret to a good life--Play music and you will acquire great friends for eternity.

Kyle Fuoss

Harmonica

I am from Piper City.  I have been married to my lovely wife Katie for 10 years. We have 1 child and another on the way.  I have been playing the harp for 20 years.  I own and operate Fuoss Fabrication in Downtown Piper City.  I have played in many bands throughout the years and have been playing with Rod for the majority of those years.  I couldn't be more blessed to be a part of this.

George Pheifer

Bass Guitar

I am from Crescent City, the little brother of Todd.  I started out being a sound guy for the band, then decided to pick up the Bass one day and learn to play. I am blessed to be able to make music with my brother.  The band has grown close, and i am proud to call them family.
